As a passionate classroom teacher, I strive to motivate my students on a daily basis through discovery learning appropriately aligned to my school's mission , curriculum and learning expectations. Incorporating technology into the learning environment has taught me multiple methods for meeting the needs of diverse learners found in schools today.

My role in instructional design and development began as a member of our school's RaceHorse (RH) Team (technology committee) and has continuously grown. This past school year ('09-'10) I designed and implemented a cross-curricular U.S. regions-themed unit integrating the study of robotics.

Each link below leads to a description of my instructional design and development, artifacts of my involvement, and a self-reflection on the pros and cons of my experience as well as what I could improve in future uses.
